At this point, I am convinced that we need honesty more than content or knowledge.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you probably know something about calorie deficits, protein intake, fiber intake, healthy fat, portion control, strength training, conditioning and an active lifestyle.
But a fairly uncontroversial, self-evident truth is that knowing something does not guarantee that you are using it.
But when you are convinced that you are using what you know, are you being honest enough with yourself if you are actually using it effectively, efficiently and appropriately.
Any other way of saying it. If you truly believe you understand something and know how to apply it well, do your actions and outcomes line up with what you think you are doing?
